On the morning of September 19, a delegation of more than 30 economic and trade officials from seven Latin American countries — the Dominican Republic, Colombia, Panama, Honduras, Bolivia, Chile, and Costa Rica — traveled halfway around the world to visit JoeBond, a leading yoga apparel manufacturer based in Zhejiang Province. The study tour was organized and sponsored by China’s Ministry of Commerce, with the aim of promoting international investment cooperation and giving overseas partners a first-hand look at the development of Chinese manufacturing.
Accompanied by JoeBond’s management team, the delegation first toured the company’s Yoga Apparel Future Factory — a RMB 400 million (approx. US$56 million) facility scheduled for full production this December. Visitors explored the smart warehouse and the texturing-and-weaving workshop. Throughout the tour, the guests paused repeatedly to watch intelligent equipment in operation, learn about the production process, and experience up close how this yoga apparel manufacturer drives automation, digital manufacturing, and supply-chain layout.
The delegation then moved to JoeBond’s headquarters, where they focused on the smart factory and product showroom. They gained a detailed understanding of the company’s full yoga apparel supply chain — from texturing and weaving to printing, dyeing, garment production, and smart warehousing — and formed a clearer picture of JoeBond’s overall scale and the completeness of its vertically integrated supply chain.
After the tour, the two sides held a panel discussion. The delegation expressed strong impressions of JoeBond’s supply-chain integration and keen interest in the company’s OEM yoga wear and finished products. During the exchange, they inquired about the possibility of opening local offices in their respective countries and about channels for purchasing JoeBond products. Both sides held preliminary discussions on these topics, laying the groundwork for future cooperation.
The visit by this Latin American International Investment Attraction Study Tour not only brought Latin American partners closer to JoeBond and deepened their understanding of the company, but also gave JoeBond a sharper view of the opportunities and potential in the Latin American market.
